Premium White Glove service includes a Delivery appointment, Un-Crating, Inspection, In Home Delivery, Placement in room of choice, Set-Up and removal and disposal packaging materials. If there is any visible damage, refuse shipment, note delivery paperwork and if possible, take a picture of the damaged area in question.

Cancellations

Each order is handmade specifically for you. Because of this, we have set return and cancellation policies in place. By purchasing from our shop, you agree to these terms. To cancel any order, you must contact us via Email/Message within 72 hours after the order is placed. After 72 hours, you will be accessed a 20% cancellation fee.

Returns

Since each item is handmade to order, all sales are final. We do not accept returns and/or refunds on any of our products. If an exception is made for a refund, it is buyers’ responsibility to repack and pay return shipping to our shop. Upon receipt of returned furniture an inspection will be carried out to ensure no damage has been incurred. A restocking fee of 25% will be applied and the balance refunded to the customer.

Hardwood Materials

3HF only Sources it North American Black Walnut and our Northern Oak from FSC Certified Lumber Mills.

FSC-certified forests are managed to strict environmental, social and economic standards. More than 160 million acres of forest are managed to FSC standards around the world.

3HF only works with the Highest Grade of hardwoods, FAS and Select Grades of Lumber. These grades have been established under the National Hardwood Lumber Association and have been designated for use in High End Furniture.

Finishing Material

3HF finishes its furniture using an Organic Plant Based Hard Wax Oil, Zero VOC, made from a blend of natural oils and waxes, Hard Wax Oil penetrates the surface of the wood to provide a durable finish that when maintained properly we last for generations.

MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

We believe strongly in the quality and integrity of our workmanship and products. We want you to be truly pleased with your furniture as it becomes an important part of your family heirlooms for generations to come. Should the furniture fail structurally at any time during the lifetime of the original owner, because of workmanship or material, we will repair or replace it at our discretion. If Vintage Mill Werks determines that the issue in question is covered by warranty, and that repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement product of the same or similar color, design, style and quality. The Vintage Mill Werks Furniture warranty period begins at the time you receive the product in your home for a period of 1 year on any manufacturers defect.

WARRANTY TERMS

Solid Wood Furniture The limited lifetime warranty on structural or manufacturing defects in wood furniture products, which includes dressers, beds, tables, desks, bookcases, etc., is for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Please note that seasonal wood movement on solid wood products and checking/cracking on wood tops are normal and are not considered warranty issues. Each piece of furniture is made specifically for each individual customer, no two pieces will be exactly the same. In regards to our Natural Finishes, the grain, texture and tone of each plank will vary from board to board which is natural and is to be expected and celebrated as this is the hallmark and beauty of Natural Solid Wood Furniture.

Waxed Table and Furniture Care Instructions:

Use coasters or placemats to help prevent marks or stains. Hot plates or cups placed directly on any wood surface will cause discoloration. Avoid mineral oil, chemical, detergent type cleaners as its usage will negatively effect the wax finish. Wipe the table clean with a soft cotton, dry or slightly damp cloth after each use. Avoid prolonged placement of objects on furniture surfaces as discoloration will occur from natural light Wax should be reapplied, as normal use wears away the waxed finish.Briwax, a high-quality finishing wax, is our furniture sealant of choice; apply as directed. Solid Wood Furniture requires moisture, in dry environments either from geographically location or by use of heaters during winter a humidifier is required

Sealed and/or Lacquered Table and Furniture Care Instructions:

Use coasters, placemats or trivets to help prevent marks or stains. Do not place hot items directly on the tabletop. Wipe the table clean with a soft, dry cloth or slightly damp cloth after each use The occasional application of a high-quality clear furniture oil soap [ Murphy’s Oil soap ] will help protect finish and clean . Please note that slight variations in color and an incomplete seal may occur with any sealant; test on an inconspicuous area first.
